La Boheme - Adding A Roof

 Nearing the end of our part of the La Boheme construction, we had to add a roof to the house. It had to be fairly light, as it was not supporting any other section of the building.

The skeleton was made up of 6mm thick pieces, while the top was 4mm birch.




At the plywood intersections we added some beams as support for the surface, as well as for looks.

At the end of the day we managed to lift and place it on some hooks screwed on the back wall.

 

Still took a few people to lift and hook it on properly, but hey,
looks good
